In this lesson we learned about how to make frame-by-frame animation, and made a stick figure walk across the page.

Flash Animation

We started using Flash to create animations this week. So far we have learned how to make shapes, how to change the colours, how to make a 'tween' and exporting our projects. There is a tutorial for those who missed the lesson here.

Hi all,
We are starting a new topic today - learning how to make web pages. Here are a few questions to get you thinking about it...you'll need to do a bit of research for some of these...

Seating plan

So...the seating plan has been in place since befor the holidays, and you guys handled the change really well. It helped some of you concentrate more on your work, helped some by sitting them next to someone who could help them, and it put a few of you in places where it was easier for me to help you more often. Next step ... we are still going to have a seating plan, but it is time for me to rearrange it a bit, and before I do, this is your chance to make recommendations. If you want to shift, please comment on this post saying who you want to sit next to, and how this will help you learn more effectively.

New Typing class site to try out

It is a typing site that has a login for a class, has tutorials and games, and then it should present the results as a chart that Ms Ronald can look at to easily see how people have progressed over the year. If we get it working, we won't need to do the typing tests anymore - the games will tell us and Miss Ronald our typing speeds.
